Cards and flowers are out, videogames are in. Whether you're playing solo or with a significant other as you celebrate Valentine's day, here are some of our favorite games, quests, and NPC romances.

Cupid's helper Kyupi is a new Sidekick, and new emoji skins include Date Night Heart, Red Romance Think, and Red Rose Sweat. You can also Give a Bouquet as a new emote, or equip the new Chocolate Bear'dvar and Candy Hearts avatars. In addition to eliminating members of the Order of the Ancients, negotiating alliances with regions throughout ninth-century England, and expanding your Ravensthorpe settlement, Assassin's Creed Valhalla offers another way to pass the time: falling in love. There are several romanceable NPCs across the English countryside, like Petra, Ravensthorpe's hunter; Broder, who you first meet in a fistfight; Stigr, the amorous flyter; and many others. Each romanceable NPC comes with different levels of commitment, from a one-night fling to a long-term relationship.
One of the most interesting options, however, is Randvi. She's married to Sigurd (who is Eivor's brother and Ravensthorpe's jarl). Romancing Randvi will have a couple of interesting effects on your game. It will make some clan members, who are already suspicious that you want to usurp Sigurd, trust you even less, cementing their belief you're up to no good. It will also (obviously) affect your relationship with Sigurd, and can have a small impact on the outcome of the story. However, if you like risking it all for the ones you love, Randvi is worth it - she's a wise leader while Sigurd is away, can hold her own in a fight, and will even join you for an adventure or two.
What could be more romantic than rescuing the goddess of love? In Immortals Fenyx Rising, Typhon has escaped from his prison and stolen all the powers of the Greek gods, transforming their physical shapes as an additional form of punishment. Enter Fenyx, who has shipwrecked on the Golden Isle and now fights to help the gods. Aphrodite is one of the first gods players will encounter, and restoring her true form may prove a bit of a challenge, as she initially wants to remain in her tree form. Once rescued, Aphrodite grants Fenyx three helpful Blessings, which when active act as buffs during Fenyx's adventure - but only one buff can be active at a time. Aphrodite's Embrace refills health after its depletion during combat, Aphrodite's Rapture negates first-hit damage after consuming any buff potions, and Aphrodite's Kiss prevents the combo meter from resetting after taking a hit.
Liberating Yara from an evil dictator isn't all guerrilla warfare and explosions. Throughout the game, you'll get to help citizens with their various troubles, including one Lorenzo Conseco. One of the Legends of '67, Lorenzo was a renowned tank driver and poet, and he fell in love with Miguelina. It was a short-lived affair, but Lorenzo never stopped loving Miguelina - and always regretted breaking her heart. The First Love quest tasks you withwith delivering a letter from Lorenzo to Miguelina. If you can avoid her explosive traps (or survive them), you'll be able to finally be able to bring both characters closure.
By completing the quest, you'll unlock Seeds of Love, in which you'll deliver more reconciliation letters, but this time to Lorenzo's estranged children. There are seven in total, spread throughout Yara, which givesgives you a chance to explore the island more thoroughly as you carry out Lorenzo's quest.
