Are you tired of being electrocuted? Fed up with being concussed? Well, dear Siege player, relief may be on the way with the Operation White Noise mid-season reinforcements patch.
Among the planned changes are a reduction in Twitch's Shock Drone ammo from 15 to five, meaning Twitch players may have to make some tougher decisions about what gadgets and which ankles to zap. Additionally, concussion effects are being reduced, and Ela's SMG magazine size is dropping from 50 to 40 bullets. Other Operator changes include a slight damage reduction for Ash's R4-C, a damage boost for Capitao's Para-308, an improvement from 35 seconds to 30 seconds for Lesion's Gu Mine refill timer, and a reduction in Bandit's barbed wire capacity from three to two. These changes will be deployed to the Technical Test Server on PC on Thursday, January 11 for testing and feedback in preparation for their official release.
The patch also brings updates to the Bomb game mode, implementing an animated icon to show when a teammate is interacting with the defuser. Once the defuser has been planted, the defuser timer will replace the round timer. There are also improvements to temporal filtering, updates to the caster camera, and a host of bug fixes (including a certain pesky shield exploit).
