Suffering from the soul-crushing realization that it's 2015 and we still don't have flying cars? Blue Byte's here to help with Anno 2205, the latest in the long-running city-building series that not only takes players to the distant future, but also lets them leave the relative safety of the Earth to mine the moon's unique resources. By flying these precious materials back to Earth, players receive even more opportunities to develop technological advancements for their sprawling, futuristic cities replete with all the hallmarks of such progress, including (of course) flying cars.

And thankfully, there's plenty of room to map out the perfect city of the future. Anno 2205 features islands five times bigger than those found in previous games in the series. Additionally, players can control several different sessions at once, spanning both Earth and the moon.
"We're proud to take players beyond the realms of planet earth with the biggest Anno game ever", said Dirk Riegert, creative director at Ubisoft Blue Byte. "The development team has been working hard to ensure we are integrating fresh and innovative new content, whilst remaining faithful to the roots of the Anno franchise."

There will be two versions of Anno 2205 available. The standard edition includes the full game, while the Anno 2205 Gold Edition includes the full game and additional content. More details about the Gold Edition will become available before Anno 2205's release on PC November 3, 2015.
