XDefiant Closed Beta Faction and Game Mode Starter Guide
On April 13, XDefiant launched its closed beta, which will run for 10 days and give players a taste of four playable factions, five game modes, 14 maps, and 24 weapons with 44 attachments. Each of XDefiant's game modes need a specific strategy to earn a victory, so Ubisoft News broke down each one and recommended which faction abilities are best suited for their objectives.
Ubisoft+ Multi Access, a subscription tier of Ubisoft+ that allows members to play on multiple platforms, is available now on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. Philippe Tremblay, Ubisoft's director of subscriptions, spoke with Ubisoft News about expanding Ubisoft+ services and making its growing library available to Xbox players.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Sequel Webcomic Coming Exclusively to WEBTOON

Ubisoft+ Spotlight - Revita
(Editorial note: This is a series of quick weekly highlights written by Ubisoft News team writers that feature games available with a Ubisoft+ subscription. We hope you'll enjoy reminiscing with us, or perhaps discover something new.)
Brittany Spurlin, Writer/Editor: Revita, a roguelite platformer from BenStar, will give you a run for your memories. You take on the role of Revita Kid, who has lost their memory and sense of identity, on their trek up an ominous clocktower in search of answers. Each time you die, you'll have to start your journey over from the subway station at the base of the clocktower, but that's where you can pick your starting weapon and buffs to customize your attack strategy for your next run. The fight to the top will be tough, but the story you'll unravel as you push through will make the struggle well worth the effort.
One of the most unique mechanics of Revita's gameplay is the way it uses health. As you find loot chests, shrines, shops and more --- all of which will contain some kind of buff to help your gameplay --- you'll need to sacrifice health to get the reward, turning HP into a form of currency. Some of these spots, like shrines, will have multiple reward options for you to choose --- but the better the buff, the more hearts it'll cost you. Is the speed boost or new weapon worth the hit? The choice is up to you. Fortunately, there's a simple way to refill your health bar: collect the souls of your fallen enemies. As you pick up the souls, you'll see sections of the soul bar fill up. Once a section is full, you can use a focus action to refill your health bar. If you max out your soul collection, you can focus to add a heart. Walking the line between saving your health and earning enough buffs to progress through the story is part of what makes Revita so thrilling to play.
You can play Revita today with a Ubisoft+ subscription from now through September 29.
