Rabbids Coding launched for free on Uplay PC exactly one year ago, and starting today, it’s available on mobile devices too. Players can now also enjoy the game in Simplified Chinese (in addition to English, French, and German), both on PC and iOS and Android In Rabbids Coding, the Rabbids have invaded a space station with the noble goal of teaching the concepts of programming. The free game tasks players with cleaning up the mess made by these unlikely astronauts, using simple instructions, loops, and logic. And now you can take on the Rabbids’ challenge anywhere you go.
It’s been an exciting year for the Rabbids: the game won Best Learning Game at the 2020 Games for Change Awards and continues to help kids and adults the world over to understand the basics of programming in a fun and memorable way.
“At Ubisoft, we believe that video games can play a role in teaching the technical skills that will be crucial for success in any number of careers in the future,” said Anthony Kozak, programmer at Ubisoft Montreal and creator of Rabbids Coding. “By bringing Rabbids Coding to iOS and Android, and providing a Chinese language option, Ubisoft is making the game even more accessible so that players of all ages around the world can learn to code at home in a fun and engaging way.”
