Ubisoft+ is adding two new games to its growing indie collection: Warpips and Lacuna.
Warpips is a 3D single-player tug-of-war strategy game developed by Skirmish Mode Games and published by Daedalic Entertainment. In the game, you'll need to assemble a squad on the battlefield, drawing from infantry fighters, military ground vehicles, and airplanes to launch a tactical attack and win the battle. Warpips randomly generates battles, giving you a different experience each time you log in. With easy-to-learn, hard-to-master mechanics, Warpips lets you focus on the big picture during its 10-to-20-minute games.
Lacuna is a 2D sci-fi noir adventure from DigiTales Interactive, where you take on the role of CDI agent Neil Conrad and investigate a high-profile murder. If you fail, it could send the whole solar system spiraling into open war. With a branching narrative, Lacuna's outcome (and Neil's survival) is decided solely by the choices you make throughout the game, some of which include deciding to sell out a friend to protect your family, endangering a loved one to protect the public, or choosing between keeping the peace or revealing a devastating truth.
Both games are available with a Ubisoft+ subscription*, or can be purchased through the Ubisoft Store. Ubisoft+ launched its indie program in September 2022, giving members access to third-party games like Lake, Orbital Bullet, Calico, with more added on a regular basis. A subscription also let's you play Ubisoft's latest releases like The Settlers: New Allies.

*Indie games are available on Ubisoft+ for a limited period of time. They are removed from the Ubisoft+ offer after 6 months but remain available for individual purchase on the Ubisoft Store.
