Steep Road to the Olympics is taking riders to two new countries full of new challenges and events when it arrives on December 5, and you'll be able to visit these new slopes for free during the open beta from November 28 through December 4 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The open beta will include two of the Olympic events—Downhill and Big Air—hosted on the groomed slopes of South Korea. It will also include a section of the sizeable Japan massif, where riders can roam freely with the classic Steep disciplines of skiing, snowboarding, wingsuiting, and paragliding, as well as take on three new challenges (two snowboard and one wingsuit).
Steep Road to the Olympics is an official licensed product of the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang. In addition to bringing riders to the Olympic events in South Korea and the powder-laden mountains of Japan, the expansion features a story mode that challenges players to rise through the competitive ranks to strive for Olympic gold, and includes advice and anecdotes from real Olympic athletes.
The Steep Road to the Olympics expansion will be released on December 5. Players who own Steep can purchase just the expansion, while players who don't already own Steep can pick up either the Steep Winter Games Edition (which includes the base game and expansion) or the Steep Winter Games Gold Edition (base game, expansion, and Season Pass).
