The crunch of sea creatures trapped between powerful jaws. The shrieks of terrified swimmers. The banjo music. Hungry Shark Evolution put a uniquely silly spin on the mobile shark-simulator genre, and now fans can dive into deeper waters with its follow-up, Hungry Shark World. Available now for iOS and Android devices, Hungry Shark World packs three new locations for you to chomp through – the Pacific Islands, the Arctic Ocean, and the Arabian Sea – along with 17 different shark species for you to upgrade and customize as you explore.
In addition to being able to devour bigger and more dangerous prey, the new sharks – which include creepy new specimens like goblin sharks, threshers, and a grinning megamouth – also come with special abilities, like bashing down walls to access new areas, and can be followed by pets that help them obliterate even more prey. And with features like the Mega Rush – the bigger, more destructive successor to the first game's Gold Rush – and Super Shoals, which let your shark of choice gulp down up to 100 prey at once, your finny avatar can be more destructive than ever.
Hungry Shark World is available now through the iOS App Store, Google Play, and Amazon.
