Welcome to the year of Brittlesbee.
Today, during Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft Film & Television debuted a new special sneak peek for "Mythic Quest" Season 3, coming later this fall to Apple TV+. The workplace comedy follows the dysfunctional band of developers behind the biggest (fictional) MMO in the world, and the new season hits the metaverse running. Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney) and Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao) have launched their latest venture, GrimPop Studios, which has them looking past measly Web 1 and into the future of gaming. The duo has already been offered $50 million - except Ian won't let them accept the money.
Back at Mythic Quest HQ, David Brittlesbee (David Hornsby) finds himself truly in charge for the first time, with Jo (Jessie Ennis) back as his assistant, militant as ever (and we're not just talking about the tank). Meanwhile, Brad (Danny Pudi), freshly released from prison, has become a humble janitor, one who sees all and definitely has nothing more nefarious planned. Dana (Imani Hakim) and Rachel (Ashly Burch) navigate their new career paths and long-distance relationship, and Carole (Naomi Ekperigin) struggles to find her place after a promotion. These explorers, innovators, and creators are out to find the future of gaming, a quest that will push them to their limits.
"Mythic Quest" was co-created by McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz, who executive-produce alongside Hornsby. "Mythic Quest" is also produced by 3Arts Entertainment, Ubisoft Film & Television, and Lionsgate, and can be watched exclusively on Apple TV+.
