As of today, the closed beta for Might & Magic Heroes VII is
finished, but its dedicated players - who, by the way, have poured
a cumulative 48,000 hours into fighting as the Academy and Haven
factions over two weeks and more than 800,000 battles - won't have
to wait for the game's launch in September to jump in again. A
second closed beta is in the works, and the best part is that
players get to vote on which two armies will appear next.
Four playable factions
are up for possible inclusion in the next beta: the Sylvan forest
elves, the Dungeon dark elves, the Stronghold orcs, and the undead
of Necropolis. Players who want weigh in can do so via Might & Magic
Heroes VII's community portal, which also offers players a
chance to get involved with development by sharing their feedback
and ideas. Shadow Council members can vote on the two factions they
want to see next, and the chosen armies will appear alongside Haven
and Academy in the next beta. The only way to guarantee access to
the closed beta is to pre-order Might & Magic Heroes VII, although
everyone else can sign up for the waitlist for a chance to play - or grab
Might & Magic Heroes VII when it arrives on PC in September.
